Actress Kerry Washington has never been one to cross my lips when I fall into a fashion icon slumber. And, yet she was just crowned People magazines Best Dressed Star of 2013 - I feel like I've been living under a rock with the Amish.

Kerry has such impeccable style - it's actually ridiculous! She can pretty much pull off any look and is a complete risk taker on the red carpet, regularly diving into disparate styles, and manages to never come up gasping for air.
