Kim Kardashian & her grill cover CR Fashion Book

The title of America's sweetheart has always been a girl-next-door association for me. It usually conjures up images of Sandra Bullock stuffing her face with pizza, or Julia Roberts with her Colgate smile. But, Kim Kardashian? No, not really. 

Kim landed the cover of the 3rd issue of Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book, which features the new mom in a high fashion spread shot by Mr Chanel himself, Karl Lagerfeld! 

Grills, diamond masks and fitted veils - the spread is pretty much avant-garde, which proves that Kanye probably knew what he was doing when he became his boo's unofficial stylist. 

Appearing in a spread designed by Givenchy mastermind Ricardo Tisci, has certainly upgraded Kim to possible high fashion icon. I'm just not so sure about the grills.
