Captured by photographer Billy Monk, who worked as a bouncer for the Catacombs Club, where he would regularly take candid shots of partygoers, with a 35mm Pentax camera.
Come 2015 and we're graciously greeted with a new Instagram snap every day - the kids are always keen to show off their latest bathroom selfie or dance floor duck face. Between10and5 put together an entertaining album of side-by-side comparisons, which certainly gave me a laugh.
